My overall opinion: This is one of my favorite movies. It's unique. It's a Scottish romance in a disappearing town...literally. You want to watch this one. :)

    This has always been a family favorite! My grandmother loved Scottish things, even giving her children Scottish names, and my aunt's name comes directly from the song "Go Home With Bonnie Jean"!
    I haven't seen this in a while but it's such a lovely film! I really enjoy Gene Kelly and he's top notch in this film! :)

    Yup, Gene Kelly is pretty great here, Miss Laurie. Have you seen him in other movies? I've heard of "Singing in the Rain" but never seen it.
