My overall opinion:

3/24/11 -- I LOVE this movie! There is one scene that I don't watch: black magic stuff. Yuck. But other than that (and a little romance, that I don't really like either), it's a great movie! I highly recommend it! I should mention that it strays from the book quite definitely, but the book was never a favorite of mine, so. <3 it so much!

11/20/12 -- Still one of my favorite movies! Other than the black magic scene, which I still abhor. The battles are especially good, and the soundtrack? Amazing. Unbelievable. Heart-stopping. I love it! I also love Peter in this one, at least, most of the time. He is occasionally a brat (yes, I just said that) but overall -- great. Caspian and Susan's romance? No. Not right. I'm becoming more accustomed to it, but I still wish they hadn't included it. Great movie though!

  1. 9.5???????? You're joking!!! I would give it a 3! It doesnt follow the book at all!! Out of all 7 books this is my least favorite, but the movie is even worse! It had its good moment.(singular) But everyone is entitled to an opinion.

  2. What did you think its good moment was?

Yes, I gave it a 9.5. I almost gave it a 10. It's one of my favorite movies. The book was never a favorite of mine either, still isn't, but I enjoyed the movie, with the exception of the one scene. :P

But, like you said, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Point: the book would have been a rather boring movie. I'm not saying they should have changed as much as they did (because they did change a LOT!) but I think some changes were needed.

Did you see Voyage of the Dawn Treader? What did you think of it?

  3. I didn't really enjoy Prince Caspian (the movie). I mean, it was quite far from the book. I din't like the fact that they made Peter and Caspian fight. And worst of all, I hate the unneeded romance they add between Caspian and Susan. That totally ruined it. But I loved the other parts.

  4. I love this movie too :)
There wasn't much of a "movie" story to get from the book so I understand why they added somethings.

    much love♥
