Soaring Eagle

Author: Stephanie Grace Whitson
Genre: Life, romance
Series: Prairie Winds series
Number in series: 2nd
My rating on a 1-10 scale: 9
Type: Fiction
Number of pages: 297
Time period: 1800's
Main characters: LisBeth, David, Jim, Soaring Eagle
Exciting events: Serious injuries, long journeys by wagon
Passage from book: "Are they all killed?" Sitting Bull asked. Soaring Eagle dismounted and approached the chief. "Wicunkasotapelo! (We killed them all!)" Sitting Bull nodded and turned away. "Then let's go back to camp." Soaring Eagle held in his dancing pony and followed Sitting Bull to where the women scurried about treating their wounded and erecting scaffolds for their dead.
My overall opinion: I am so enjoying the way SG Whitson writes! It's really delightful and great reading. Highly recommended!
