My overall opinion: Well, it was fun! I was unhappy that a man was kissing while a woman while the man still believed himself married to another woman. But overall, it was a fun story!

    Wow! I've seen the newer Horatio Hornblower films but I'd never even heard of this older one! I really want to watch it now!

    Gregory peck is great actor.

    I felt like the movie dealt pretty well with him feeling very guilty about having kissed her while he was a married man, or so he believed. Overall, this is one of my favorite Gregory Peck movies, which is saying a lot, since he's fabulous in pretty much everything.
