The Best Man

Author: Grace Livingston Hill
Genre: Romance
My rating on a 1-10 scale: 9
Type: Fiction
Number of pages: 172
Time period: Early 1900’s
My overall opinion: Grace Livingston Hill is one of my favorite authors. J This book was distinctly different from many others of hers, a Secret Service guy who unwittingly gets married. Yeah, how do you unwittingly get married? Well, he did. A fun story!

  1. Unwittingly get married! That does seem strange, I wonder how he managed it. Sounds like a fun book!

  2. This sounds so interesting! GLH is one of my favorite writers too! Hmm...makes me wonder if the Secret Service guy was going undercover and that's why he gets married. Looks like a good book! :)

  3. I love Grace Livingston Hill books! My favorites are: The Finding of Jasper Holt and Crimson Roses. I'm glad to see that GLH books are still being read by a younger generation!

Miss Laurie, it was very interesting...again, you'll have to read it and find out if your guess is right. :)

Julie, I love GLH too! And "Crimson Roses" is my all-time favorite. Haven't been able to read "The Finding of Jasper Holt" yet though.
