Birthday: Robert Frost

Robert Frost

Birth: March 26, 1874
Death: January 29, 1963
It’s his 138th birthday!
You know him because – he’s a rather famous poet. I’m including one of his poems below.

The Pasture by Robert Frost

“I’m going out to lean the pasture spring;

I’ll only stop to rake the leaves away

(And wait to watch the water clear, I may):

I sha’n’t be long. – You come too.

I’m going out to fetch the little calf

That’s standing by the mother. It’s so young

It totters when she licks it with her tongue.

I sha’n’t be gone long. – You come too.”

  1. Is it that time again? Somehow I always forget his birthday is in March!
    Happy Birthday dear Mr. Frost! You're my father's favorite poet and because he had me study your poetry in high school you're one of my favorites too. :)

Hi! I'm delighted you're leaving a comment! Thank you so much - comments make my day. Just make sure that yours is polite, free of bad language, and that it honors God. :) I will probably not reply to your comment, much as I would love to - my life is simply for too busy. Sorry! But again, thanks for commenting.
