Day 16 – Books

A Short Wishlist

To my horror (or maybe not), I discovered that I can’t narrow it down enough to give you just one thing on my wishlist. So here are a few!

Susan Boyle’s newest CD, Someone to Watch Over Me

Sarah Sundin’s first two books in the “Wings of Glory” series, A Distant Melody and A Memory Between Us
The Blue Castle by L. M. Montgomery
The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy (preferably extended editions)

Torrent by Lisa T. Bergren
Ellie’s Haven by Sharlene MacLaren

A thousand dollar gift certificate to Amazon (doubtful I’ll get this…but if any of you have $1000 to get rid of, think of me ;)

  1. Since writing this -- I have read "Torrent" (and loved it!) and also just a few days ago, I found a movie copy of "Return of the King" for cheap! Naturally, I snatched it up. :)

  2. I wish I could have the extended version... :P

Well, actually I do...for The Two Towers...but it's on tape, and the tape is falling apart. :O D:

I'm thinking of maybe saving up $50 and getting The Two Towers and The Return of the King extended on Itunes since I watch most of my movies on the computer, anway. :)

  3. Alyianna, I'm envious that you've seen TT extended! Yes, it's so much money... :P

I'd love to get RK extended. That's my favorite. And the FR. And THEN TT. :)

  4. Yeah, I think I might like FOTN best (or perhaps ROTK, it's so hard to decide), but I'm pretty sure TTT is my least favourite (not that I don't like it...actually, the extended scenes are some of the best scenes from TTT...it's just that I don't like it AS MUCH as the other two...but you get the point :P)

Hi! I'm delighted you're leaving a comment! Thank you so much - comments make my day. Just make sure that yours is polite, free of bad language, and that it honors God. :) I will probably not reply to your comment, much as I would love to - my life is simply for too busy. Sorry! But again, thanks for commenting.
