The Apothecary's Daughter

Author: Julie Klassen
Genre: Romance, life
My rating on a 1-10 scale: 8.5
Type: Fiction
Number of pages: 411
Time period: 1800's
Main characters: Lilly
Exciting events: Many suitors, a runaway mother, much more
My overall opinion: It was a good book and I will read more by Julie Klassen. There was a variety of men and I was kept guessing until the very end as to which one would be the one.

  1. I started reading this once, but I got Just Jane at the same time, and that's the one I read...Apothocary's D. had to go back to the library. Maybe I'll get it again someday.

  2. I have seen this book quite a few times at my local christian bookstore but always seem to pass it over because I've never read a book by this author. I tend to stick to Janette Oke, Lori Wick, Gilbert Morris and Tracie Peterson but from your review here I might just have to stray from my usual authors and buy this one :)

  3. It was a very good book, girls, and I recommend it! :)

Tristans_Isolde, those are some of my favorite authors too...well, Janette Oke and Lori Wick. Not Gilbert Morris so much, and I've only read one Tracie P.
