Making Waves

Author: Lorna Seilstad
Genre: Romance, adventure, mystery
Series: Lake Manawa Summers series
Number in series: 1st
My rating on a 1-10 scale: 8
Type: Fiction
Number of pages: 363
Time period: 1800's
Main characters: Marguerite, Trip, Roger, Mark
Exciting events: Falling in lakes, tripping over things, etc. :)
Passage from book: If forced to endure Roger Gordon for five more minutes, Marguerite Westing would die. Dead. Gone. Buried. Six feet under Greenlawn Cemetery.
My overall opinion: It was good! I do recommend it. It wasn't amazingly funny, but it had its funny parts. Marguerite was a main character I really enjoyed! I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

  1. This book looks deliciously Janette Oke-like! I looked it up, and our library has it (YAY) but it's in the adult section. You usually mention content, but I thought I'd make sure; this book doesn't have any 'schtuff' in it, right?
    ~Thanks!

Hi! I'm delighted you're leaving a comment! Thank you so much - comments make my day. Just make sure that yours is polite, free of bad language, and that it honors God. :) I will probably not reply to your comment, much as I would love to - my life is simply for too busy. Sorry! But again, thanks for commenting.
