My overall
opinion: Wow! Irene Hannon has hit another one out of the park with this
splendid novel! It’s the 10th book of hers that I’ve read, and she
hasn’t ceased to delight me. This book was certainly not an exception! Again,
she managed to pack each page with suspense and constant action, pulled
together with a sweet dose of romance and plenty of love – and not just the romantic
kind, but that of a mother for her child. I savored every page. I was never
sure where the story would end up next, except that I knew it had to end
happily – because Irene’s books do. Trust me, I would be heart-broken if they didn’t.
The ending did not disappoint! I’m sorry to see this series end. Highly
recommended for anyone who is a fan of romantic suspense. I can’t wait for “Buried
Secrets,” her next book!

My overall
opinion: This. This was a stunning sequel to Vanished, the first book in the series. James Devlin aka Dev
quickly stole my heart and I had no problem whatsoever understanding why Laura
fell for him in just a few days. And speaking of Laura, she was pretty awesome!
I really liked her. Like other books by Irene Hannon, this one was packed with
excitement and suspense, and although there were a few parts that I felt were
rather predictable, there were still plenty of unexpected twists and turns
throughout. I enjoyed this one SO much and am so glad I got to read it! You
definitely should be keeping an eye for it if you aren’t yet. I’m super excited
to read Deceived, coming in summer
2014!

Title: Vanished
Author: Irene
Hannon
Book blurb: Reporter
Moira Harrisons is lost. In the dark. In a thunderstorm. When a confusing
detour places her on a rural, wooded road, she's startled by the sudden
appearance of a lone figure caught in the beam of her headlights. Though Moira
jams on her brakes, the car careens across the wet pavement--and the solid
thump against the side of the vehicle tells her she hit the person before she
crashes into a tree on the far side of the road.
A dazed Moira is relieved when a man opens her door, tells her he saw
everything, and promises to call 911. Then everything fades to black. When she
comes to an hour later, she is alone. No man. No 911. No injured person lying
on the side of the road. But she can't forget the look of terror she saw on the
person's face in the instant before her headlights swung away. The person she
hit had been in trouble. She's sure of it. But she can't get anyone to believe
her story--except a handsome former police detective, now a private eye, who
agrees to take on the case.
From the very first page, readers will be hooked into this fast-paced story
full of shocking secrets from fan-favorite Irene Hannon. "Vanished"
is the exciting first book in the Private Justice series: Three justice seekers
who got burned playing by the rules now have a second chance to make things
right.
Quick endorsement: If
I had to name a great suspense book that I read in 2012…it would, at this
moment, be this one. This book was amazing, packed with suspense and sweet
romance, among other things. Definitely worth the money and the read.

another amazing suspense book from Irene Hannon and Revell! The mystery is

more than worth buying!
