My overall opinion: Not enjoying it as much…I think  the second one was most interesting. Not to say that this one wasn’t exciting! It was, and strange too. But I didn’t love it. Fourth book, Shadow Lamp, comes in September of 2013!

My overall opinion: Wow, this was an interesting one! The final third of the book was most interesting – the main character travels back to Neanderthal times (side note – I don’t believe in evolution or Neanderthals, but hey, this is science fiction right? J). The whole  book was interesting. At first, I was a little confused, since it’s been a few months since I read the first book (The Skin Map) but I caught on.

Passage from book: Had he but known that before the day was over he would discover the hidden dimensions of the universe, Kit might have been better prepared. At least, he would have brought an umbrella. Like most Londoners, Kit was  martyr to the daily travails of navigating a city whose complexities were legendary...

My overall opinion: I enjoyed it! An interesting and exciting story. (but isn't the title gross?)
