My overall opinion: Wow. Another keeper book from Lynette Eason! It was this author who wrote
the first romantic suspense that I read, and she has remained the first author that I mention when friends ask for recommendations. I’ve read a number of her books and thoroughly enjoyed each one – Nowhere to Turn was no exception! This is a book that will definitely be remaining on my keeper shelf. Her heroine is awesome; the bad guys are through-and-through villains; the hero is everything a hero should be. From the first page to the last, this book had me hooked and I read it in just one sitting! I wish I had time to share the entire first page here with you – it starts with action, and that doesn’t stop. I was there with the characters in each scene. I highly recommend this book (and others by Lynette) to any reader who hasn’t given her a try yet!

My overall opinion: After you read a lot, romantic suspense can become a bit stereotypical. But not this one! Wow! It was jam-packed with thrilling and creative twists and turns. Amazing, and quite enthralling! This is a memorable book filled with page-turning adventures. It’s a must-read and must-own for suspense lovers, and has earned a permanent place on my keepers shelf! I loved the characters, and can’t wait to continue the series. Highly recommended for anyone who is a fan of Lynette Eason, of course, or Dani Petterey, Irene Hannon, Dee Henderson, etc.

My overall opinion: Let’s just say I spent the entire book on pins and needles. The End. Nope, not enough. It was a great book! What a stunningly grand finale this one is to the Deadly Reunions series! As you may recall, I’ve now read six books by Lynette, with the first in this series (When the Smoke Clears) being my favorite of them all…until I read this one. Which ties with book 1. Both unbelievably good.

As readers of the first books in the series will hopefully remember, each book has its own complete suspense story, and yet through both of the first two, there’s also a bit of suspense building around a central event and person…and that doesn’t get cleared up until this book. It’s a story in itself, but trust me – you’ll be glad to know the characters and the background from the first two books, so read them all! So worth it. :)

So yes…Lynette Eason has done it again. Written yet another suspense that will keep you reading late into the night. There are few suspense books that can aspire to be this good! If you ask me about my favorite suspense authors, I have several to mention – but Lynette was the first I found, and is always the first to come to mind. The cover of this particular book is SO neat – the blue and purple and white, the brown eyes, the dark hair…all of it. According to the back of the book, it’s “spine-tingling” and “nail-biting.” Yup. It’s true. Loved the characters (especially Colton, aka, the hero) and the story was very suspenseful as I’ve mentioned. Love!

Read my review: I haven't read it yet, but I have read the first two books in the Deadly Reunions series...and they were amazing.

Why I like this cover: I'm sure part of what is influencing me to love this over so much is the fact that I can tell from here that I'm going to love the story. But the other big thing I can pinpoint that makes me love it? The colors. I adore that blue background...and the purpley/white waves make it mysterious and yet beautiful. The white light is an immediate eye-catcher...or rather, it would, except that a beautiful young woman is staring at you. Look at the brown of her eye! At least, I think it's brown. Other angles make me think it's gray, or maybe a shade of blue or purple. What do you think? Either way, that is the immediate focus on this cover. Her dark hair blowing back and the blue lapel add the perfect of touch of femininity and yet strength. It's an amazing cover for what I'm sure will be an amazing book.

Quick endorsement: This was the very first book I read by Lynette Eason…and from the beginning, I was hooked. The riveting combination of suspense and romance make this book impossible to put down! I have since devoured everything by Lynette that I can get my hands on and am eagerly anticipating the third book in this series.

A Killer Among Us

My overall opinion: This was my favorite book from this series! It was exciting, sweet, full of action…all around awesome. And not quite as much gory detail (to be blunt) as some of the books had. My favorite of the three…I highly recommend it!

My overall opinion: I enjoyed this book quite a bit, just like everything else I’ve read by Lynette Eason! She’s a wonderful author, always adding the perfect amount of romance to her suspense. This book was no exception. Grippingly exciting and full of action…what more could I want? An excellent read. Do note…the description was quite vivid, and may be more than you prefer. I personally would have liked a little less, but I still enjoyed the book.

My overall opinion: Wow! What a great sequel to When the Smoke Clears! Serena, a Medical Examiner, is a wonderful heroine, full of energy and brilliance – yeah, she’s smart. A terrible, ruthless killer, a handsome young man, and more all come together to fill this book with electrifying action and suspense, along with a heart-warming thread of romance. And the cover! Absolutely hands-down amazing. I love it, and have ever since I saw it. One thing I learned from this book…I’ll never become a Medical Examiner. I can read about it, I simply couldn’t do it. The book was fast-paced (a hugely good thing in suspense) and very well-written. I can’t wait for book three! Oh, so excited. :) If you are a fan of Irene Hannon or Dee Henderson, you will love Lynette Eason and her books!

Too Close to Home

My overall opinion: I enjoyed this wonderful suspense by Eason a lot. It was exciting, riveting, and very well-written. The killer was a mystery to the end. It had some awesomely sweet romance too! The crimes committed by the killer were pretty awful, so I would recommend this book for older readers – 16 and up. Otherwise, great book!

My overall opinion: LOVE! I loved this story. It had a little really sweet romance, a wonderful and very exciting adventure, and a mystery through-out. And the end was enough solved to satisfy me, while still requiring that I read the next book! Make sense? This was an awesome book and I highly recommend it. Absolutely stunning. You need to read it!
