I haven't yet read any of the Hardy Boys...although I have read several Nancy Drew. My favorite was 'The Clue of the Broken Locket' from what I read, I think. :-)

I like to think of the time period as being when the book was written/revised. :-)

I love this book! I love all of the Hardy Boys books, though (the old ones with the blue bindings). The characters are excellent and the stories are always exciting. Best of all, they're short enough to be read in one sitting by a fast reader. :-)

Have a great day!

Love in Christ,
Vicki

Rachael: No I haven't. Do you mean it's about the authors? Sounds interesting...

Melody: That probably would be more accurate. Like, around the 1940's. But I figured that the authors were trying to make them be in the present, so. But you make a good point...thanks for pointing that out!

Vicki: I like the older books too. :) I haven't read any of the newer ones, but those old ones sure are fun! I am a fast reader, and love reading, so yes, these are one sitting books, so to speak. :)
