Spotlight: Roy Rogers

Just so you know, I think Roy Rogers is one of the handsomest guys EVER. Really.

Okay, so it is a bit of a weird shirt...

His real name? Leonard Franklin Slye. His childhood? Tough. His life in general? Tough. His testimony? Amazing.

With Dale Evans, his second wife and "Queen of the West" for the "King of the Cowboys."

In their old age.

Looove Roy and Dale! (or Leonard and Frances, wasn't it?) Even when he was old and deaf he could still sing beautifully. :)

Wow! I didn't see this post coming but I'm so glad you enjoy Roy Rogers and Dale Evans as much as I do. My mom has a biography about them and their testimonies are amazing! They were so genuine and kind to everyone they met. My favorite of these photos is the "Queen of the West" for the "King of the Cowboys" one, I just love their smiles! Definitely all-American in their looks and warm personalities behind those lovely smiles!

Cool! That was a nice spotlight. Roy Rogers was one pretty sweet cowboy! :D And I made a Jane Austen site, just click on my name to see it!

Thanks,
Emma
