Genre: Life
My rating on a 1-10 scale: 8
Type: Fiction, classic
Number of pages: 336 or so
Time period: 1800's
Main characters: Antonia (say An-ton-ee-uh), Jim, and others
Passage from book: I first heard of Antonia on what seemed to me an interminable journey across the great midland plain of North America. I was ten years old then; I had lost both my father and mother within a year, and my Virginia relatives were sending me out to my grandparents, who lived in Nebraska.
My overall opinion: Didn't love it, didn't hate it. I'm glad I read it, if only so I can say I did. Not a book I will own. A few faintly inappropriate things, but overall, clean.

I had to read this for summer reading one year. I think I also didn't love or hate it either, but I think I liked it better than some of the other students.
