Genre: Life, romance
Series: McKenna’s Daughters
Number in series: 1st
My rating on a 1-10 scale: 9
Type: Fiction
Number of pages: 295
Time period: 1800’s (specifically 1885)
My overall opinion: Awesome! Yes, really. I greatly enjoyed this book. It was very interesting to learn about the dress-making side of things…the travel of trains of the time…and besides all of that, the storyline was riveting. I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series. Essentially – it’s triplets, who are separated at birth (hence the title of the series: McKenna’s Daughters). So far as I can tell, none are told that they are adopted, or that they have two sisters who are their triplets. This particular story only followed one child... but I’m sure that each book coming in the series will follow a different girl. The book was well-written, and the story was amazing. And I love the cover. :)
