My overall opinion: This was a good movie, y’all, and I was excited to watch it – and once I started, excited to finish it (as in, it was something I anticipated watching). Be advised, first of all, that there are some reasons for the PG-13 rating, so look that up before watching this. However, if you do decide to watch it, I think you’ll really enjoy it! I really liked Russell Crowe as Robin Hood and he’s definitely one of my favorite actors just now. Seriously. Then there was Cate Blanchett, who has a really striking way about her – I liked her as Galadriel, and she was good here too. But yeah. If you can get past the things it’s rated PG-13 for, this is a really great movie.

I love the Robin Hood story, and I have 3 different movie versions and the first season of an old TV version, but I still haven't seen this. Glad to hear you liked it! I'll give it a try when I get a chance.
I really wanted to like this movie but the things it's rated PG-13 for were a bit too much for me. Also there wasn't very much of Robin Hood robbing from the rich to give to the poor and there were several historical inaccuracies. Overall for me this was a pretty dark, dirty and disappointing film. :(
And I'm not liking Russell Crowe so much right now since hearing his unbiblical thoughts on Noah who he plays in a recent film.

Oh I like this movie too! the costumes are so historical and pretty. Cate Blanchett did a wonderful job playing a Marion who is more age accurate..;) I really enjoyed how the look of this movie was as well. All the darker film tones and filters really captured that medieval feel.
