Title: Waterfall
Author: Lisa T.
Bergren
Book blurb: Most American teenagers
want a vacation in Italy, but the Betarrini sisters have spent every summer of
their lives among the romantic hills with their archaeologist parents. Stuck among
the rubble of the medieval castles in rural Tuscany, on yet another hot, dusty
archaeological site, Gabi and Lia are bored out of their minds...until Gabi
places her hand atop a handprint in an ancient tomb and finds herself in
fourteenth-century Italy. And worse yet, in the middle of a fierce battle
between knights of two opposing forces.
Suddenly Gabi's summer in Italy is much, much more interesting.

Quick endorsement: I
met this book through the enthusiasm of Katy from “Legacy of a Writer” for the
series. Having made Waterfall’s
acquaintance, I was delighted and have recommended it to all my friends since
then. The time travel is unique here (unlike in some books) and one that will
delight many a reader.

I loved this book! I read it so fast, though, that I could probably re-read it before I read the second one. :)
I still need to read all these books - I was gifted one of the books by someone who won it in a giveaway but already owned a copy. Needless to say, I need to see what all the fuss about this series is all about. :)
Rissi! You do need to read this ASAP. :) Make sure you read them in order, though.
