Movie: Dark Knight

My rating on a 1-10 scale: 7.5

Genre: Superhero, adventure

Series or set: The second Batman movie

Primary actors: Christian Bale, Heath Ledger

Length: Two hours

Based on: The comic books, I think

Time period: Present

Year it came out: 2008

My overall opinion: You probably noticed that it didn’t get an exceptionally good rating from me. My biggest problem with it was how dark and freaky it was. That definitely didn’t leave me wanting to watch it again, and I DON’T recommend watching it right before bed – thankfully, I didn’t. However, the graphics were impressive – really amazing. Someone put a lot of time and work into them! Those were my primary impressions: freaky movie, great graphics. I doubt I’ll watch it again in the near future.

Note: Christian Bale is also an interesting Double...FYI, he was Laurie in the 1995 Little Women. The picture second to bottom especially looks like him. ;)

Ooh yes, that does look like Laurie. I don't really like him as Laurie in Little Women...is he any better here?

Good review, Charity U! I thought your rating and comments were very fair; my favorite batman actor is Michael Keaton :) Christian Bale does a good job, but the story has lost heart somewhere in all of these sequels and remakes.
Great photos as usual, good job! Blessings!

Haha, I'd seen Christian Bale first in Little Women... gave me a little jolt when I saw him as Batman. ;)

But. That being said? This is my favorite trilogy ever. :)

Much as I enjoyed the first movie... I am skeptical about this one because of those dark, twisted turns.

Analiese, I don't think this would be your kind of movie...at all...and I can say that, being your sister. ;)

Kara, are there older Batman movies? I should maybe look into those. :)

Angelica, I'm still sad you don't like LOTR better...just saying. Maybe Hobbit will take over. And yeah, it took be a while to figure out who he looked like...such different roles.

Rissi, yeah, I don't recommend this one real highly. Too dark for me, a girl who loves bright and cheerful movies. :)
