Actress Joan Hickson in the ultimate Miss Marple! I watched a TV interview with where she said when she was younger she'd met Agatha Christie while acting in a play of one of her novel. Ms. Christie had expressed the desire that one day Ms. Hickson would play Jane Marple. What an honor to be hand picked by the authoress herself! Too bad Joan Hickson passed away before she was able to act in all the Miss Marple stories!
