Movie: The Count of Monte Cristo

My rating on a 1-10 scale: 9
Genre: Adventure (very exciting!)
Primary actors: Jim Caviezel, Guy Pearce
Length: About 2 ¼ hours.
Based on: The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas.
Time period: 1700’s (?)
Year it came out: 2002
My overall opinion: It was pretty good! Exciting. It had a lot of really cool locations! There was a tad of mystery and a ton of adventure. Just wonderful! I highly recommend it. It was mostly clean – a few times, it was clear that a couple was sleeping together, but nothing explicit was shown. I will watch this again! But first, I gotta read the book…it’s got something like 1000 pages. I kid you not. It’s huge. But hey – I CAN do it! (I think)

I have watched this and I thought it was very well done. The adventure scale is off the chart!
Great movie. Both my older brothers thought it was wonderful!

It sure is an awesome movie :D. I haven't gotten to read the book yet, but plan to. My older sister did read it, however. She really enjoyed it, said it wasn't boring at all... with 1464 (I think it was) pages, I would've expected it to have a lot of description. But apparently, it didn't. While she read that book, we kind of had a contest, and I read Les Miserables, which had one page less. She won :).
