Giveaway for Janette Oke's Books and Silas Marner!

Giveaway now closed.

And no, not all of them. :) She's written a lot of books! Maybe someday I'll do a Janette Oke Day. :) But for now, I have two of her books to give away...and they're a strange combination. Here's the deal. I have for giveaways three books: Love Comes Softly by Janette Oke, the first book in the Love Comes Softly... (obviously, the book is just the yellow edged part)

When Comes the Spring also by Janette Oke, the second book in the Canadian West series...

and Silas Marner, a classic by George Eliot.

So what I'm going to do is say this. The winner of this giveaway can choose either one or two of these books, and I will mail them to you. Got it?

Your mandatory entry is simple:

Tell me which one (or two) you would like.

Anyone who lives in the United States may enter. You may leave your email address if you would like.

Extra entries:

+2 - Follow this blog.

+3 - Follow my privatized photography/life blog. Write to charityu.austenite[at]gmail[dot]com for an invitation.

+1 - Name me two of your favorite authors, and which of their books you enjoy.

And that's it for this time. :)

This giveaway closes on September 2, 2011. I will announce the winner soon after.

Ready? GO!

What a lovely giveaway! These are very good books!
If I won I'd choose Loves Comes Softly because I love it and I don't have my own copy. I actually love the yellow cover, the edition I first read looked just like that one pictured!
If I could choose two books I'd also choose Silas Marner because I really want to read that book too!

My e-mail is: OldFashionedCharm(at)gmail(dot)com

Two Christian authors I enjoy are Lori Wick who wrote one of my favorites 'The Princess' and Jeanette Oke who wrote another favorite one mind 'A Gown of Spanish Lace'.

So glad you entered, Miss Laurie! And I had to reply. :) The yellow cover was my first LCS book too. I like it much more than the other ones. :P

"A Gown of Spanish Lace" is on of my favorite Janette Oke's. :) And I do enjoy Lori Wick, though I haven't read that particular book yet.

I'll go with Love Comes Softly and Silas Marner. Maybe if I have SM it will encourage me to read it. :) (I've read the Canadian West series and liked it, but I think I liked the 1st book better than the 2nd.)

Okay, two authors I enjoy:
Jane Austen (you knew I was going to say that), and I enjoy all of them.
For something different, Beverly Cleary - and I like Fifteen, The Luckiest Girl, and Sister of the Bride. :) (Those are teen books written in the late 50s. They're fun. :) )

No need to enter me in the giveaway.

I have read both these books. Just wanted to say they are both good particularly The Janette Oke. I'm now a fan of her books! Good Luck to those who have entered!

Margaret, I do love Janette Oke!

Melody, I liked the first book better too, but I just had an extra copy of the second, so.

One of my favorite authors is Jane Austen: my top three favorites are Pride and Prejudice (suprise, suprise...), Emma, and Sense and Sensibility.

Another favorite author is Elizabeth Prentiss- I love her Stepping Heavenward book... such a blessing.
Thanks for doing this!
